Our main service
Debt review removal, done the legal way.
Debt review is meant to end. Once your debts are paid, your name should be cleared. When it is not, we find out why and get it done.
Why people stay stuck
Paid up, but still flagged.
While the flag is on your name, banks and stores will not give you new credit. That means no car finance, no bond and often no new contract phone. These are the usual reasons it stays there:
- Nobody asked for the clearance certificate. The debts are paid, but the paperwork was never done.
- The debt counsellor is unreachable or has closed, so nobody issues it.
- A creditor will not give you a paid-up letter. If the debt is old enough, prescription can be part of the answer.
- The certificate was issued but the credit bureaus never updated your record.

Questions
About debt review removal.
What is a clearance certificate?
It is the official document a debt counsellor issues once the debts under your debt review are paid up. When the credit bureaus receive it, they must remove the debt review flag from your name. A home loan can still be running when it is issued.
My debt counsellor has closed down. What now?
This happens more often than you would think, and it is one of the most common reasons people stay flagged long after paying. We help you find out who holds your file now and follow up until the certificate is issued.
I still owe money. Can I leave debt review?
Sometimes, but it depends on your situation, and leaving the wrong way can cost you the protection your plan gives you. Book a consultation and we will tell you honestly what your options are.
What does it cost?
It depends on your file. We explain the cost at your consultation, before you agree to anything.
How long until the flag is gone?
Once the clearance certificate is issued, the credit bureaus update your record. How long it takes to get to that point depends on your file; we give you an honest estimate at your consultation.
